What to Expect

Departure from Marrakech — 8:00 AM

Swimming is possible at the natural pools in warmer months. The hike back downstream takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Comfortable trainers or walking shoes are strongly recommended — sandals are not suitable for this terrain.

In the village of Sidi Fares, high above the Ourika Valley, a traditional Berber house has been prepared for your group’s arrival. The terrace overlooks three valleys simultaneously, the Atlas peaks rising on all sides, the river far below, the silence broken only by the wind and the distant call of a bird of prey.
