Most Agafay excursions follow the same formula: transport, activity, basic meal, return. La Bohème does something different — it treats the desert as a backdrop for a genuinely elevated evening rather than simply a setting for an activity.
The camp sits on the rocky Agafay plateau, 30 minutes south of Marrakech, with uninterrupted views of the High Atlas Mountains. The landscape is barren in the best possible sense — no hotels, no medina noise, no light pollution after dark. Just open plateau, warm air, and the kind of silence that reminds you how close you are to the Sahara.
La Bohème has built a luxury camp around that silence. The tents are designed to blend Berber aesthetic with contemporary comfort — hand-woven textiles, low lantern lighting, attentive service from a staff that understands the difference between hospitality and efficiency. The dinner is a proper multi-course Moroccan feast: fresh salads to start, traditional slow-cooked tagines, grilled specialties, and dessert — served as the sun drops behind the Atlas and the air cools. The live show builds through the evening: Berber musicians, oriental dancers, campfire at the centre, lanterns across the camp.
The activities — camel, quad, buggy — are the afternoon prologue to that evening. Each one works differently with the terrain. The camel trek moves slowly across the plateau, giving you the Atlas panorama at the pace it deserves. The quad covers more ground, more noise, more adrenaline. The buggy puts two people in a 500cc vehicle and lets them navigate the rocky tracks together. All three finish before sunset, so the evening at La Bohème begins with the best light of the day.

What to Expect
From 15:00 — Pickup from Marrakech
Your driver collects your group from your hotel or riad. Pickup time depends on the activities booked — activity-only bookings depart later, dinner show bookings depart from 15:00 to allow time on-site before sunset. The drive to La Bohème takes approximately 30 minutes.
Arrival at La Bohème — Activities
On arrival at the camp you are welcomed by La Bohème staff. Your chosen activities begin in the afternoon, while the light is warm and the Atlas Mountains are at their most photogenic.
- Camel ride (if booked): Your guide leads your group on a one-hour trek across the Agafay plateau. The pace is slow and deliberate — this is the activity for the landscape, not the adrenaline. Children aged 4 and over can ride independently; younger children can ride with a parent.
- Quad ride (if booked): One hour of guided off-road riding across rocky Agafay terrain. Helmets and safety briefing provided. Minimum age 16.
- Buggy 500cc (if booked): A two-seat 500cc buggy for one hour on the desert tracks. Price is per vehicle — two people share one buggy at 79€. Minimum age 16.
Activities are designed to finish before sunset, so the transition to the dinner show is seamless.
Sunset & Dinner Show at La Bohème (if booked)
As the sun drops behind the Atlas, the camp transforms. Tables are set around the central campfire, lanterns are lit across the site, and the kitchen begins sending out the first courses of the Moroccan feast — fresh salads, warm bread, cold drinks. The main course follows: traditional slow-cooked tagines and grilled specialties. Dessert arrives as the entertainment builds.
The live show — Berber musicians and oriental dancers performing around the fire — runs through the evening, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously theatrical and genuinely connected to the culture and landscape around it. The combination of food, music, firelight and open desert air is what separates La Bohème from every standard Agafay excursion.
~22:30 — Return to Marrakech
Your driver returns your group to your hotel or riad in Marrakech.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the 69€ base price include?
The 69€ base price covers the round-trip private transfer between your Marrakech hotel or riad and La Bohème Agafay camp, plus access to the camp on arrival. Activities and the dinner show are add-ons selected at booking — each is priced separately so your group only pays for what you choose.
Is the dinner show worth adding?
Yes — strongly recommended. The dinner show at La Bohème is the centrepiece of the experience. A multi-course Moroccan feast served at sunset, with live Berber music and oriental dance performed around a central campfire, in a luxury tent camp with Atlas Mountains views. The public menu price at La Bohème is 45€ — it is available here for 40€ as part of your booking. Most guests find the evening at camp is what they remember most about the day.
Can we combine activities?
Yes — all activities can be combined in the same booking. The most popular combination is camel ride + dinner show. Quad or buggy + dinner show is ideal for groups who want more adrenaline before the evening. All activities are scheduled to finish before sunset so the transition to dinner is seamless.
What is the buggy price — per person or per vehicle?
The buggy is priced per vehicle — 79€ for the buggy, which seats 2 people. Two people share one buggy at the fixed price of 79€ total.
What are the age requirements?
Camel ride: children aged 4 and over can ride independently. Children under 4 can ride with a parent at no extra charge. Quad ride: minimum age 16. Buggy: minimum age 18. There are no age restrictions for the dinner show or camp access.
What time does pickup start and when do we return?
Pickup from Marrakech begins from 15:00, with the exact time depending on which activities you have booked. The return to Marrakech is approximately 22:30, after the dinner show.
What does La Bohème’s luxury camp include?
La Bohème is a high-end Berber camp that combines traditional desert aesthetics with contemporary comfort — sumptuous tents with hand-woven textiles, lantern lighting, and five-star service from an attentive staff. It is designed as a premium desert resort experience rather than a basic camp setup, with the Atlas Mountains as a permanent backdrop.
What should we wear?
Comfortable clothing is recommended for the afternoon activities. After sunset the desert air cools quickly — bring a light jacket or layer for the dinner show, especially between October and April.
What is the cancellation and deposit policy?
A non-refundable deposit of 20€ is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is payable on the day. If you cancel 24 hours or more before your scheduled pickup in writing (email or WhatsApp), the remaining balance is refunded in full. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup or no-shows are not eligible for a refund.

Our driver, Hicham, was the epitome of exceptional service—kind, professional, respectful, and genuinely friendly. He not only ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience, but also guided us on how to best show appreciation to the amazing team behind the camel ride and dinner. Thanks to his thoughtful approach and outstanding service, this event became truly unforgettable.

We recommend this beautiful experience especially when it is a first for you! As described in the service, hotel pick-up/drop-off, camel ride, quad bike, swimming pool and dinner/show.
A few tips: take water, sunglasses and possibly mask for the quad (dust) that can be done with 2.
You will have a little less than an hour relaxing pool before dinner. And enjoy the magnificent view of the sunset over the mountains;)
