What to Expect

From 15:00 — Pickup from Marrakech

Your driver collects your group from your hotel or riad. Pickup time depends on the activities booked — activity-only bookings depart later, dinner show bookings depart from 15:00 to allow time on-site before sunset. The drive to La Bohème takes approximately 30 minutes.

Arrival at La Bohème — Activities

On arrival at the camp you are welcomed by La Bohème staff. Your chosen activities begin in the afternoon, while the light is warm and the Atlas Mountains are at their most photogenic.

• Camel ride (if booked): Your guide leads your group on a one-hour trek across the Agafay plateau. The pace is slow and deliberate — this is the activity for the landscape, not the adrenaline. Children aged 4 and over can ride independently; younger children can ride with a parent.

• Quad ride (if booked): One hour of guided off-road riding across rocky Agafay terrain. Helmets and safety briefing provided. Minimum age 16.

• Buggy 500cc (if booked): A two-seat 500cc buggy for one hour on the desert tracks. Price is per vehicle — two people share one buggy at 79€. Minimum age 16.

Activities are designed to finish before sunset, so the transition to the dinner show is seamless.

Sunset & Dinner Show at La Bohème (if booked)

As the sun drops behind the Atlas, the camp transforms. Tables are set around the central campfire, lanterns are lit across the site, and the kitchen begins sending out the first courses of the Moroccan feast — fresh salads, warm bread, cold drinks. The main course follows: traditional slow-cooked tagines and grilled specialties. Dessert arrives as the entertainment builds.

The live show — Berber musicians and oriental dancers performing around the fire — runs through the evening, creating an atmosphere that is simultaneously theatrical and genuinely connected to the culture and landscape around it. The combination of food, music, firelight and open desert air is what separates La Bohème from every standard Agafay excursion.
