Your guide meets your group at the agreed point near the Koutoubia. Before heading inside the medina, you’ll spend time at Marrakech’s most recognisable monument — the 12th-century minaret that became the architectural template for the Giralda in Seville and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. Your guide explains the Almohad dynasty, the mosque’s 70-metre tower, and why the surrounding gardens were designed to frame the view exactly as you see it today.
