Midway Comfort Stop — approx. 9:00–9:15 AM

Approximately one hour into the drive, your driver stops at a café or petrol station for coffee, tea, a snack, and restroom facilities. Refreshments are paid on-site and not included in the tour price. A practical and welcome pause before continuing into the Middle Atlas foothills.

Iminifri Natural Bridge — approx. 10:00–10:45 AM

Your first stop is the Iminifri Natural Bridge — a towering karst stone arch spanning a dramatic Middle Atlas river gorge, formed over millions of years through the slow erosion of limestone by the river below. Your certified local
guide meets you here and leads a 30 to 45 minute exploration of the site.

Iminifri is largely absent from standard group tour itineraries. International visitors are rare. Continue to Ouzoud Waterfalls — approx. 10:45 AM–12:00 PM

From Iminifri, the drive continues approximately one hour northeast to the Ouzoud Waterfalls. The road passes through Berber villages, terraced olive groves, and increasingly dramatic Atlas foothill scenery. Your driver provides context on the landscape and local communities as you approach one of Morocco’s most extraordinary natural destinations.

Ouzoud Waterfalls — approx. 12:00 PM–3:00 PM

Arrival at the Ouzoud Waterfalls — 110 metres of cascading white water thundering over three tiers of red-ochre rock into a mist-filled gorge below. Ancient olive trees frame the falls. Wild Barbary macaques move through the rocks and trees around you. The scale and power of Ouzoud is immediately arresting.

If you have selected the optional certified guide at Ouzoud, your guide meets you at the entrance and leads you through the full experience — down to the base pools, across the wooden bridge, to the panoramic ridge viewpoints, and through the ecological and cultural story of the falls and the surrounding Berber communities.

If you prefer free time, you have approximately 2.5 to 3 hours to explore independently — swim in the natural pools, find a riverside terrace for lunch, watch the macaques, and discover the viewpoints at your own pace.

Note: Because this itinerary includes the Iminifri stop, free time at Ouzoud is slightly shorter than on the classic Ouzoud-only day trip. If maximising time at the falls is your priority, the classic version may suit you better.

Your driver meets you at the agreed point at 3:00 PM for the return journey to Marrakech. The drive retraces the Atlas route southwest towards the city.
